Terms and Conditions
We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without prior notification, will incur a cancellation fee of 50–100% of the grooming cost. A deposit may also be required before any future appointments can be booked.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to shorten or reschedule your appointment to minimise disruption to other clients.
All pets must be in good general health and up to date with their vaccinations.
Please advise us before your appointment if your pet has any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, allergies, injuries, or behavioural concerns that may affect their groom.
For the safety of your pet and our staff, a muzzle may be used where necessary.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue grooming if a dog displays aggressive behaviour or becomes excessively distressed. In these circumstances, partial or full payment may still be required, depending on the stage of the groom.
If fleas or a significant number of ticks are discovered during your pet's appointment, an additional parasite treatment fee of £10–£20 will apply.
Where necessary, we may reschedule the appointment to help prevent the spread of parasites to other pets.
We are happy to remove ticks during the groom; however, the time taken to do so will be included within your allocated appointment time.
We reserve the right to refuse grooming for pets with untreated parasite infestations.
Severely matted coats can cause discomfort and pose a risk to your pet's health. In accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, your pet's welfare will always be our priority.
Where matting is severe, we may recommend clipping the coat short rather than attempting to brush out the knots, as this is often the safest and kindest option.
An additional dematting fee may be charged depending on the severity of the matting and the time required. This applies to both minor mat removal and full shave-downs.
By agreeing to have a severely matted coat clipped, you acknowledge that there is a risk of skin irritation, redness, bruising, and, in rare cases, small cuts or nicks due to the condition of the coat. Appropriate aftercare advice will be provided.
Please arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. As space is limited, we are unable to accept pets earlier than their booked time unless agreed in advance.
Pets should be collected at the agreed collection time.
Collections more than 15 minutes late may incur an additional holding fee.
We are happy to groom elderly, disabled, or special needs pets, with each groom adapted to suit their comfort and individual requirements.
Owners acknowledge that grooming older or medically vulnerable pets carries an increased level of risk due to existing health conditions or age-related factors.
If we believe continuing the groom is no longer in your pet's best interests, we reserve the right to stop the appointment. Partial or full payment may still be required depending on the work completed.
For the comfort and wellbeing of all pets in our care, we do not groom dogs that are in season from the first day of their season until two weeks after it has finished.
We are also unable to groom pregnant dogs or mothers whose puppies have not yet been fully weaned.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure your pet's safety, accidents can occasionally occur during grooming.
Should your pet become injured or unwell during their appointment, we will contact you immediately.
If urgent veterinary treatment is required and we are unable to reach you, you authorise us to seek appropriate veterinary care on your behalf. Any veterinary costs incurred will remain the responsibility of the owner.
We may take photographs of your pet before, during, or after their groom for use on our website and social media pages.
If you do not wish your pet's photographs to be used for promotional purposes, please let us know before your appointment.
Payment is due in full when your pet is collected.
We accept cash, card, contactless payments, and bank transfer.
Deposits may be requested for new clients, missed appointments, or during particularly busy periods, including summer and the Christmas season.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue grooming at any time if we believe it presents a risk to your pet, our staff, or other clients.
As our salon operates from a residential location, we cannot accommodate dogs that bark or howl excessively. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to end the grooming appointment and may decline future bookings if the behaviour continues.
